Waldorf Attack 3 - Upgrade from WE2 (Producto digital)

Attack 3 - Upgrade from WE2: A Classic Drum Synth Reborn

The Attack 3 - Upgrade from WE2 is the upgrade license for registered owners of the full Waldorf Edition 2 (not Edition 2 LE) stepping into the next generation of Waldorf's percussion synthesizer. Originally launched in 2001, Attack has shaped electronic drums for over 25 years. Attack 3 installs as a separate plug-in with the rebuilt engine, while the Attack version inside Waldorf Edition 2 remains unchanged.

What Makes the New Engine Different

Refined oscillators add accurate phase control and sample playback with velocity mapping, while the upgraded filter section brings 24 dB filters, comb filters, and six new drive types for grit and weight. Two LFOs per sound, multi-stage envelopes, and deep modulation routing turn simple hits into evolving textures.

Who Should Pick Up This Upgrade

Attack 3 is the right choice for Waldorf Edition 2 owners who already love the original Attack and want the modernised engine. Owners of Waldorf Edition 2 LE use the separate Attack 3 - Upgrade from WE2 LE. Beat makers, sound designers, and electronic producers get a software download that runs as VST3, AU or AAX on macOS and as VST3 or AAX on Windows.
