Lionel Richie is an American singer, songwriter, record producer, and television personality who became famous in the 1970s as a member of the Commodores, known for hits like Easy, Sail On, Three Times a Lady, and Still. Launching his solo career in the early 1980s, Richie achieved worldwide success with hit albums such as Lionel Richie and Can't Slow Down, featuring chart-topping singles like Endless Love, All Night Long, Hello, and Truly. Richie also co-wrote the global charity anthem We Are the World with Michael Jackson. With more than 100 million records sold, he is one of the best-selling artists of all time. Richie has won four Grammy Awards, an Academy Award, a Golden Globe, and numerous other honors.
