Oil medium. Medium 2 is a slightly yellowish, slow-drying medium ideal for blending and extending the working time of resin oil colours. It is particularly suited for wet-in-wet techniques and for correcting “starved” areas – sections of a painting that appear matt due to excessive oil absorption by the surface. This medium enhances elasticity and gloss while helping to maintain a consistent finish across the painting. It can be diluted with turpentine oil or white spirit.
