Pavol Hammel, born on 7 December 1948 in Bratislava, is a renowned Slovak musician, singer and producer. Raised in a musical family, with his father playing violin in the Slovak National Theatre, he developed strong musical foundations. After studying law at Comenius University, he first rose to prominence with the band Prúdy and later built a successful solo career. He is married and has two daughters.
