Acrylic Sizing. Acrylic sizing is available in three volumes: 280, 500 and 1000 ml. It is designed for artists who prefer to prepare their own painting grounds, as well as for students learning canvas priming and stretcher‑making techniques.

ROSA Studio acrylic sizing is applied before priming painting bases such as canvas, wood, stone or fiberboard. It fills the gaps between the fibers, penetrates the upper layers of the material, binds them together and prevents gesso from seeping through to the backside of the canvas.

After drying, the sizing forms a strong, transparent and elastic layer that does not yellow, does not crack over time and is not water‑soluble. Thanks to the similar chemical nature of its components, it has excellent adhesion to acrylic primers.

How to use:

• Mix thoroughly before use (do not dilute with water)
• Apply a thin, even layer with a wide brush or palette knife
• Avoid pressing the canvas to prevent the sizing from bleeding to the back
• Apply the second and subsequent layers only after the previous one is completely dry, if needed
• Tools can be easily washed with water immediately after use
