Roseanne Park, known as Rosé, is a New Zealand and South Korean singer and songwriter. Born in Auckland and raised in Melbourne, she moved to Seoul after joining YG Entertainment in 2012. Following four years of training, she debuted as a member of the globally successful girl group Blackpink in 2016.
Rosé launched her solo career in 2021 with her single album R, breaking sales records for Korean female soloists, and making history on charts worldwide with her hit On the Ground. In 2024, she signed with The Black Label and Atlantic Records and released her debut studio album Rosie, featuring the international number-one single Apt. with Bruno Mars. The song topped charts in South Korea, Australia, and became the first track by a Korean female soloist to hit the top three in the United States and United Kingdom.
