Sixx A M was a hard rock band from Los Angeles formed in 2007 by Nikki Sixx, DJ Ashba, and James Michael as a side project for Sixx while he was the bassist of Motley Crue. The band gained recognition for their hit songs Life Is Beautiful and Lies of the Beautiful People. Their name comes from the members' last names. Sixx A M released several albums including The Heroin Diaries Soundtrack, This Is Gonna Hurt, Modern Vintage, and Prayers for the Damned and Blessed.
