Native / Apollo - Runs either natively on your macOS or Windows computer or on the DSP of your Apollo interface. Works with or without UA hardware.

Step into the sonic legacy of countless iconic albums with the **Helios Type 69 Preamp and EQ Collection**. This definitive emulation delivers the exact **fat midrange, assertive growl, and unmistakable attitude** that shaped the sound of legends like Bob Marley, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, David Bowie, Black Sabbath, and AC/DC. Imagine having a classic channel from the famed Helios Type 69 consoles, once housed at legendary studios like Olympic in London, Musicland in Munich, or the Rolling Stones’ mobile studio, right within your DAW.

• Authentic Analog Console Sound: UA's engineers meticulously emulated two "golden units" of the original Type 69, faithfully capturing their distinct custom-made character. This provides you with colorful sonic flavors that will bring your vocals, guitars, drums, and bass truly to life, imbuing them with the punch and personality of classic recordings.
• Bold and Colorful Analog EQ: Experience the hardware's famously assertive three-band EQ, perfectly emulating the rich-sounding saturation behaviors. This unique characteristic ensures that even radical EQ moves on all your sources remain **ultra-musical**, allowing you to sculpt your sound with aggressive yet pleasing results.
• Thick Low-End Tone and Versatility: Inject your tracks with the same solid and wide bass foundation found on seminal rock, pop, and reggae recordings, thanks to **four uniquely voiced low-frequency boost filters**. Additionally, you can efficiently clean up sources like overheads and room mics by switching the Bass band into a fixed 50 Hz low-cut mode, offering precise control over your low frequencies.
• Realtime Vintage Tracking with Apollo/Unison: Elevate your recording process by tracking in realtime "through" a vintage Helios with your Apollo interface. UA's groundbreaking **Unison™ technology** provides all the original hardware’s line/mic preamp impedance, crucial gain stage “sweet spots,” and exact circuit behaviors, giving you an authentic analog workflow and tone from input to output.
