Experience the most iconic synthesizer ever made with the Moog Minimoog Model D UAD Instrument. This revolutionary instrument unequivocally changed the face of modern music, setting the standard by which all other synthesizers are judged. From the pioneering sounds of Kraftwerk to the deep grooves of Parliament-Funkadelic, the progressive rock of Yes to the intricate beats of Dr. Dre, the Minimoog's **fat, musically expressive analog synth sounds** are legendary.

• Authentic Analog Synth for the People: Developed in close partnership with Moog Music, and exclusively for Universal Audio, the Moog Minimoog meticulously captures every nuance, anomaly, and quirk of the original hardware. This was achieved using Universal Audio's industry-leading expertise in circuit modeling, synthesis, and signal processing. Introduced in 1970, the portable Minimoog democratized synthesis, making complex sounds accessible to all musicians, and quickly appeared on albums by Emerson, Lake & Palmer, Stevie Wonder, Sun Ra, Bob Marley, and many more, transforming and even creating entire genres with its futuristic sound.
• Unmatched Craftsmanship and Realism: Universal Audio's DSP engineers, in collaboration with Moog Music, undertook meticulous circuit modeling and rigorous listening tests of three vintage Minimoogs, selecting a single "Golden Unit" for the ultimate emulation. Using custom robotics for ultra-precise knob measurements, every Minimoog module was fully emulated, faithfully capturing module-to-module coupling and impedance. The result is an awe-inspiring UAD Instrument with all the personality of Bob Moog's most famous synthesizer with **near-zero latency** for real-time performance.
• Incredible Realism to Fuel Creativity: Simply open the Minimoog in your DAW and prepare to be inspired by the unmistakable growl, fatness, and rich distortion of Moog's iconic ladder filters and oscillators. This plug-in includes detailed modeling of the Minimoog's pitch tracking anomalies, and even the "feedback" effect (looping the Minimoog's output to the input for varying degrees of distortion) is faithfully reproduced. By capturing the midrange punch, high-end presence, and sumptuous low end, the Minimoog UAD Instrument effortlessly blends into any mix, just like the original hardware.
• Custom Moog Modifications: The Moog Minimoog UAD Instrument incorporates many of the custom modifications that power users applied to their hardware units, significantly expanding the Minimoog's sonic palette. From switchable note priority and legato, to sample and hold, an extra LFO, and more, these added features make the Minimoog UAD Instrument a jaw-dropping, detailed emulation that truly raises the bar for virtual instruments, offering unparalleled creative control.
