Starship

Starship is a pop rock band from San Francisco, formed as a continuation of Jefferson Starship after changes in the lineup and a shift in musical style. The band gained major success in the 1980s with hits like "We Built This City" and "Sara" from their platinum album Knee Deep in the Hoopla, as well as "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now" from No Protection. After a break in the early 1990s, the group returned to touring as Starship featuring Mickey Thomas.
