Gibson 1952 J-185

One of the most famous Gibsons of all time - the J-185, was originally launched in 1951. Designed to be only slightly smaller in relation to the larger SJ-200 and J-185 but it uses similar equipment, the back and sides have from Sitka spruce and maple. This Custom Historic 1952 J-185 is enhanced by the heat-aged Sitka Spruce Hill and a beautiful maple back and sides. The classic J-185, including the iconic Maltese crosses inlaid with mother-of-pearl on an open crevice bridge - is a rare model much sought after by artists and performers around the world.
