Ilona Jurníčková

Ilona was a Finnish rock band active mainly in the late 1980s and known for being composed mostly of female musicians. The band gained attention with their 1988 hit Kesäpano and had a few other singles that reached the national top twenty charts. Ilona recorded music with the Poko Rekords label and placed third in the 1986 Rock SM competition. After the group disbanded, drummer Taru Huhtajärvi went on to play with Juice Leskinen’s ETC in 1992 and later joined Dreadline.
