I needed bass strings in the rehearsal room and at the same time I didn't need any luxury. The strings surprised not only the sound, but also the feeling when playing. Sound balanced, but how long it lasts remains to be seen. They feel great, they are not hairy and they glide nicely. It looks like they might replace the red Warwicks. But I will continue to use Elixirs on the concert bass...
