John David Anderson is an American country singer whose career has spanned over four decades. Emerging in 1977 with his debut single "I've Got a Feelin' (Somebody's Been Stealin')", Anderson became known for his distinctive style and voice. He has achieved more than forty songs on the Billboard country charts, including five number-one hits: "Wild and Blue", "Swingin'", "Black Sheep", "Straight Tequila Night", and "Money in the Bank". Over the years, he has released 22 studio albums across multiple labels. His most recent album, Years, came out in 2020 and was produced by David Ferguson and Dan Auerbach. Anderson has been recognized for his contributions to country music, with inductions into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2014 and the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2024.
