Hudba Praha was a Czech rock band formed in 1984 by Michal Ambrož following the ban of his earlier group by the Czechoslovak Communist regime. Known for their energetic performances and socially conscious lyrics, Hudba Praha became an influential part of the Czech music scene. The band remained active, with a brief break in the late 1990s, until 2015, when it split into two separate acts. Over their career, Hudba Praha released several studio and live albums, leaving a lasting legacy in Czech rock. Michal Ambrož, the driving force behind the group, passed away in 2022.
