Courtney Freckleton, born 17 January 1990, is a British former rapper known as Nines. Rising from the UK rap scene with several early mixtapes, he later signed to XL Recordings. His debut album, One Foot Out, reached number 4 on the UK Albums Chart in 2017. Nines followed with Crop Circle in 2018 and the chart-topping Crabs in a Bucket in 2020. He continued his success with Crop Circle 2 and Crop Circle 3, both hitting number 2 in 2023, and Quit While You're Ahead, which peaked at number 4 in 2024.
