Super Swede F, Electric guitar. Recipient of the same heart transplant and personality change as its shorter scale length sibling, the Super Swede-F is a heavily chambered version of the Super Swede, offering up a different, but equally compelling, version of tone on tap. The sonic transformation achieved is especially profound as the longer, 25.5 inch (648mm), scale length of the Super Swede platform adds new levels of organic “woody” complexity to the Super Swede-F’s expressive range.
Hagstrom’s
Custom 58 pickups’ crystalline transparency enhances the breadth of the
Super Swede-F’s already broad tonal palate. The Super Swede-F’s
electronics package also makes use of Hagstrom’s passive RC-Circuit,
opening the door to new sonic possibilities without sacrificing harmonic
complexity. Finally, a coil splitting function enabling the Custom-58
humbucking pickups to be individually switched to single coil mode via
the push/pull tone controls completes the electronics package. Overall,
the electronics on the Super-Swede-F offer a dazzling array of rich,
