Oceán is a Czech synth-pop and new wave band, originally active from 1985 to 1993 and reformed in 2011. Known for their melodic electronic sound influenced by Erasure and Depeche Mode, their classic lineup featured Petr Muk, Petr Kučera, Jan Vozáry, and Dušan Vozáry. After several early lineup changes and a long break, they returned with a renewed lineup, including Jitka Charvátová on vocals. Oceán remains recognized for their distinctive atmospheric pop within the Czech music scene.
