Čtyřicet variací pro violoncello op. 3 brings Otakar Ševčík's famous violin study collection to solo cello, reworked by cellist Tomáš Jamník. The arrangement respects Ševčík's original methodology and adapts each variation to idiomatic cello positions, making the book a focused workout for sautillé, spiccato and other off-the-string bow strokes. The 17-page edition is published by Bärenreiter Praha with trilingual commentary in Czech, English and German.
