Nils Hilmer Lofgren, born June 21, 1951, is an acclaimed American rock musician known for his skills as a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and recording artist. Best recognized for his long-standing role in Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band since 1984, he has also played with Crazy Horse and led the band Grin. In 2014, Lofgren was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the E Street Band.
