Sidi Touré, born in 1959 in Gao, Mali, is a renowned singer and songwriter based in Bamako. Known for his distinctive style of Songhaï blues, he began his musical journey with the regional group Sonhaï Stars. Touré has twice been recognized as Mali's best singer at the National Biennale, first in 1984 and again in 1986. In 1992, he collaborated with acclaimed musician Kassemady Diabaté, further establishing his place in Mali's music scene.
