Strap Locks and buttons
Strap locks and buttons attach a guitar or bass strap to the instrument. A strap lock creates a locking connection, while a separate button provides the fixed mounting point for a conventional strap. Check compatibility across every part of the system.
Compare the strap-hole diameter, the matching connector, and the dimensions of the screw and original button. Systems are not necessarily interchangeable, so use components designed to work together.
After installation, test the connection over a soft surface and check regularly for a loose button. If fitting requires drilling or altering the hole in the instrument, have the work carried out by a service technician.
