Chad Lawson is an American pianist and composer known for blending classical and contemporary styles. He first gained recognition with the Chad Lawson Trio and later toured with Julio Iglesias, which inspired his debut solo album, Set on a Hill, in 2009. Lawson achieved major success with The Chopin Variations in 2014, topping the Billboard Classical chart. He joined Decca Records in 2020 with the release of Stay. Beyond his music, Lawson composes for the popular podcasts Lore and Unobscured, and hosts the Calm It Down podcast, focusing on mental health and meditation. He is also a certified breathwork coach and serves as a UN ambassador for the World Federation for Mental Health.
