Earthless is a San Diego-based psychedelic rock band known for their powerful instrumental jams and expansive, semi-improvised songs. Formed in 2001 by guitarist Isaiah Mitchell, bassist Mike Eginton, and drummer Mario Rubalcaba, the band blends elements of classic rock, metal, blues rock, jazz, and krautrock. Their debut album Sonic Prayer came out in 2005, followed by Rhythms from a Cosmic Sky in 2007. While vocals occasionally appear, Earthless stands out for their immersive, guitar-driven soundscapes and dynamic live performances.
