G-Eazy, born Gerald Earl Gillum in 1989, is an American rapper from Oakland, California. He started his music career in 2006, independently releasing two albums before signing with RCA Records. His 2014 major label debut, These Things Happen, reached number three on the Billboard 200 and featured the triple-platinum single I Mean It. He followed up with When It's Dark Out in 2015, which included the hit Me Myself and I with Bebe Rexha. In 2017, The Beautiful and Damned produced his biggest hit, No Limit with Cardi B and ASAP Rocky, peaking at number four on the Billboard Hot 100. Later releases included These Things Happen Too in 2021 and Freak Show in 2024, though they saw less commercial success. Known for his slick production and charismatic style, G-Eazy has remained a notable figure in contemporary hip hop.
