George Thorogood is an American musician, singer, and songwriter known for his energetic boogie-blues style that defined much of 1980s rock radio. With his band, The Delaware Destroyers (often simply The Destroyers), he created iconic hits like Bad to the Bone and I Drink Alone and revived classics such as Move It on Over and One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer. Over his five-decade career, Thorogood has released more than 20 albums, earned multiple Gold and Platinum records, and sold 15 million records worldwide. Continuing to tour extensively, Thorogood and his band marked their 50th anniversary in 2024.
