Randall Hank Williams, known as Hank Williams Jr. or Bocephus, is an American singer-songwriter and musician born on May 26, 1949. Renowned for blending rock, blues, and country, he is the son of country legend Hank Williams. Starting his career performing his father's songs, he later forged his own path after overcoming a serious accident in 1975. Williams became a key figure in country rock and outlaw country, recognized for his dynamic performances and skills on a wide range of instruments, including guitar, piano, and harmonica. He is the father of musicians Hank Williams III, Holly Williams, and Sam Williams, and the grandfather of Coleman Williams. In 2020, Hank Williams Jr. was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.
