Jeff Buckley was an American singer-songwriter and guitarist acclaimed for his distinctive voice and emotional intensity. In 1994, he released his only studio album, Grace, which received widespread praise and led to international tours. While working on his second album in Memphis in 1997, Buckley tragically drowned in the Wolf River. After his death, his reputation grew, with Grace frequently ranked among the greatest albums and his rendition of Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah celebrated as an iconic recording.
