Jennifer Hudson, known as J.Hud, is an acclaimed American singer, actress, producer, and talk show host. She achieved EGOT status in 2022, becoming the youngest woman and third African-American to win all four major entertainment awards. Rising to fame as an American Idol finalist in 2004, she later launched a successful music career with her Grammy-winning debut album and multiple top-charting releases. Hudson won an Academy Award for her breakthrough role in Dreamgirls, and has since starred in films like Respect, The Secret Life of Bees, and Cats. On stage, she appeared in The Color Purple and produced the Tony-winning musical A Strange Loop. She has also served as a coach on The Voice and currently hosts The Jennifer Hudson Show.
