Ari Staprans Leff, known professionally as Lauv, is an American musician recognized for his hit single "I Like Me Better" from his 2018 compilation album I Met You When I Was 18. His debut studio album, How I'm Feeling, was released in 2020 and reached number sixteen on the US charts. In addition to his own music, Lauv has written songs for other artists, including "Boys" by Charli XCX and "No Promises" by Cheat Codes and Demi Lovato.
