Mortiis is an electronic band from Notodden, Norway, led by Håvard Ellefsen. Originally started as Ellefsen's solo project in 1993 following his time as bassist in the black metal band Emperor, Mortiis has evolved into a full band over the years. Known for blending electronic music with black metal influences, Mortiis explores different sounds with each era, reflecting Ellefsen's roots and ongoing musical experimentation.
