Sevda Alizadeh, known as Sevdaliza, is an Iranian-Dutch singer, songwriter, record producer, visual artist, and director. Her music blends electronic, trip hop, and experimental sounds, and she often explores complex themes of identity and emotion. Sevdaliza debuted with the EPs The Suspended Kid and Children of Silk in 2015, primarily performing in English. In 2017, she released her first Persian-language track, Bebin, as a response to political events. That same year, she launched her acclaimed debut album ISON on her own label, Twisted Elegance. She continued to expand her artistic vision with the EP The Calling in 2018 and her second album, Shabrang, in 2020.
