Christopher Smith Jr., known as Smino, is an American rapper and singer from St. Louis. He is the founder of the Zero Fatigue collective with Bari, Monte Booker, Jay2, and Ravyn Lenae, and a member of the group Ghetto Sage alongside Saba and Noname. Signed to Downtown Records and Interscope, Smino built his reputation with early mixtapes and EPs before releasing his acclaimed debut album blkswn in 2017. He has since released the albums Noir, Luv 4 Rent, and Maybe in Nirvana, earning recognition for his distinctive style that blends hip hop, soul, and R&B.
