People, this head is brutal. If you don't just want a dull bass amp without shape and expression (unfortunately 95% of them are like that), but a proper machine with balls and character that won't get lost in any style (especially in harder ones), go for it. Press beat, turn character from the middle to the right, add mids, set gain and blend to taste and blow away guitarists and drummers. The frequencies are absolutely amazing, corrections too, you have no problem making a very similar sound to the B3K. Simply all right. You can find plenty of samples on YouTube, but you have to look for samples of the preamp (VT Bass DI). The head has only 2 disadvantages in my opinion. 1) they should make it like the VT Bass Deluxe, i.e. with programmable presets. You wouldn't need any extras on the board for that, the head and footswitch would be enough to cover any mood. 2) the speaker output is only speakon, they could also combine that with a 6.3 jack.
