De verkoper kan hier niets aan doen, maar de kwaliteit van het het album is echt om te huilen. Wat een slechte persing e/o mastering. Het eerste nummer klinkt goed, maar daarna begint de ellende. Enorme vervorming en overbelasting in het hoog. Een hoop gekraak, alsof de naald door de groeven sleept, niet om aan te horen. Dit album heb ik dan ook na 10 minuten af moeten zetten. Ik heb een Pro-Ject X2 speler met een Ortofon Bronze en ook nog een Blue. Voor alle zekerheid de arm en naaldafstelling nog eens goed gecontroleerd, maar die staan perfect. Geen enkel ander album laat deze vervorming horen, maar dit Van Halen album is volledig uit Balance. Erg jammer, want ik had goede hoop gezien de goede reviews op Discogs en dat deze geweldig zou moeten klinken. Dat bleek inderdaad bij het eerste nummer, maar daarna begon de ellende. Ook kant B is niet om aan te horen, de tamboerijn in het 2e nummer en de highhat klinken echt helemaal overbelast. Echt mijn eerste miskoop in de platenwereld. Kan er dus ook helemaal niets mee, behalve naar de hoes kijken.

The seller can't do anything about this, but the quality of the album is really to cry about. What a bad pressing e/o mastering. The first song sounds good, but after that the misery starts. Huge distortion and overload in the highs. A lot of crackling, as if the needle is dragging through the grooves, not to be heard. So I had to turn this album off after 10 minutes. I have a Pro-Ject X2 player with an Ortofon Bronze and also a Blue. Checked the arm and needle adjustment again just to be sure, but they are perfect. No other album shows this distortion, but this Van Halen album is completely out of Balance. Very unfortunate, because I had high hopes given the good reviews on Discogs and that this one should sound great. The first song indeed proved that, but after that the misery began. Side B is also unpleasant to listen to, the tambourine in the 2nd song and the highhat sound really overloaded. Really my first mis-buy in the record world. So can't do anything with it either, except look at the cover.
