The history of Muziker

Music accessories on display in the GB Music store.

1997

GB Music is founded, along with the first store in central Bratislava. Music is at the core of the business from the very start.

1998

We move to larger premises and stabilise the operation of both the store and the warehouse.

2000

We launch our own musical instrument service and build up expert know-how.

2001

We are among the first to open a musical instrument store in a shopping centre (Aupark Bratislava)..

2004

The Muziker brand is born, we launch the e-shop and expand into the Czech Republic.

2010

We open our first logistics centre and significantly strengthen online sales.

2011

We open a store in Ostrava and continue to grow in the Czech Republic.

Stores in Liberec and Plzeň are added.

A team in the office collaborating on developing the e-shop for the European market.

2016

The e-shop operates in 26 EU countries and Muziker becomes an international brand.

2020

During the pandemic we grow online, adding vinyl records, turntables and creative supplies.

2021

We expand the range with further new segments and open a cycling store in Bratislava.

A modern counter in the first MULTISTORE in Košice after an extensive rebranding.

2022

We launch an extensive rebranding and open the first Muziker MULTISTORE in Košice.

2023

Rebranding of the showrooms and implementation of the new identity in both online and offline environments.

2024

We consciously return to our musical roots and become a partner of the Grape festival.

Muziker relaxation zone with loungers and a purple DJ car at the Colours of Ostrava festival.

2025

We consolidate the showroom network, focus fully on musical instruments and on cooperation with the Czech festival Colours of Ostrava.
