  • 8 RGB backlit MPC pads with velocity and pressure sensitivity across two banks
  • True mechanical pitch and modulation wheels for tactile, hands-on expression
  • Studio Instrument Collection (1,000+ presets) and Ableton Live Lite 12 included for instant creativity.

Akai MPK Mini MK4 Gray — Compact MIDI Controller with Pro-Level Hands-On Control

The Akai MPK Mini MK4 Gray is a 25-key USB MIDI controller designed for producers, beatmakers, and on-the-go creators who want expressive hardware control without giving up desk space. Built around a redesigned third-generation keybed, true mechanical pitch and mod wheels, and eight RGB MPC pads, this controller delivers studio-grade playability in a chassis that slips into a backpack. Laptop producers and home-studio creators will find this model ideal for portable MIDI surface needs, thanks to seamless integration with DAW and external gear.

What Sets the MPK Mini MK4 Apart in the Compact Controller Class

What makes the MPK Mini MK4 stand out is its combination of true mechanical pitch and mod wheels, a full-color display with bidirectional DAW feedback, and a built-in arpeggiator with Pattern, Freeze, and Mutate functions. The included Studio Instrument Collection delivers 1,000+ presets from AIR, Akai Pro, and Moog, giving players a full sound library straight out of the box. NKS support opens direct control of more than 2,000 Native Instruments-compatible instruments and effects, pre-mapped to the controller's knobs, pads, and keys.

Keybed and Playing Surface — Expressive Control in a Compact Footprint

The keybed is the heart of any MIDI controller, and the redesigned third-generation mini keys on this instrument measure deeper than the previous generation for a more confident feel. Twenty-five velocity-sensitive keys cover a 10-octave range via the octave selector, giving players full melodic reach without trading off portability.

  • Keys Number: 25 — enough range for two-handed playing while keeping the unit backpack-friendly
  • Dynamic velocity-sensitive mini keys allow expressive phrasing, responding to your unique playing style with every touch.
  • Pitch Bend: Yes (mechanical pitch wheel) — physical wheel for precise, repeatable bends

Pads, Knobs, and Real-Time Feedback — Hands-On Sound Shaping

Eight RGB backlit MPC pads sit front and center, velocity- and pressure-sensitive across two banks for finger-drumming, clip launching, and polyphonic aftertouch-style expression. Eight assignable 360° rotary knobs handle continuous parameter control, and the full-color screen provides real-time parameter names and values so players always know what they are adjusting.

  • Pads: 8 RGB backlit, velocity- and pressure-sensitive, 2 banks — responsive finger-drumming and clip control
  • Use the assignable 360° encoders to tweak DAW, mixer, and device parameters in real time—customize your workflow instantly.
  • Display: Full-color screen with bidirectional DAW feedback — shows parameter names, values, and track info in real time

Connectivity, Power, and Built-In Creative Tools — Ready for Any Rig

A single USB-C cable handles both data and bus power, while a 5-pin MIDI output and a 1/4-inch TS sustain pedal input connect the controller to hardware synths and stage rigs without adapters. The built-in arpeggiator offers seven play modes plus Pattern, Freeze, and Mutate functions, and Scale and Chord modes keep every note in key.

  • Outputs: MIDI OUT (5-pin), USB-C — drives both software instruments and external hardware from one unit
  • Inputs: Sustain Pedal (1/4" TS) — adds hands-free expression to keys and pads
  • With arpeggiator features like Pattern, Freeze, Mutate, and 7 play modes, you can sketch evolving sequences directly from the controller.
  • Power: USB bus-powered — no wall adapter or batteries required for laptop or studio use
  • Dimensions: 347.5 × 192 × 45.7 mm — slim profile that fits beside a laptop on any desk
  • Weight: 1.05 kg — light enough to throw in a bag for mobile sessions

Who the MPK Mini MK4 Gray Is Built For

Bedroom producers, hip-hop beatmakers, and electronic musicians will appreciate a portable MIDI controller with serious hands-on control. This instrument is compatible with Ableton Live, Logic Pro, FL Studio, Bitwig, and Cubase thanks to pre-mapped DAW integrations and a display that reflects track names, device parameters, and mixer levels in real time. Players who want to sketch ideas away from the studio will appreciate the USB-C bus power, the included Studio Instrument Collection with 1,000+ presets, and the bundled Ableton Live Lite 12 license for immediate music creation.

Akai Professional — A Legacy of MPC Innovation

Akai Professional has shaped modern beatmaking through its legendary MPC (Music Production Center) line, and the MPK Mini MK4 carries that heritage directly into the controller market. The eight RGB pads are the same MPC-style pads trusted by producers worldwide, and the included Studio Instrument Collection draws on Akai Pro's plugin catalog alongside AIR and Moog sounds. With NKS integration unlocking more than 2,000 Native Instruments presets, the MPK Mini MK4 Gray sits at the center of a connected production ecosystem built on decades of hardware and software innovation.

Pitch Bend

Pitch Bend: Yes

The Pitch Bend allows smooth pitch changes, adding expressiveness to musical expression. Often used to create effects such as glissando or vibrato, this feature allows the player to make subtle or dramatic changes to the sound in real time. Pitch bend allows musicians to create smooth transitions between notes, increasing the dynamics and expressiveness of their performances.

Arpeggiator: Yes

The Arpeggiator transforms chords into sequences of individual notes played in various rhythmic and melodic patterns. Instead of playing the chords as a harmonic whole, the Arpeggiator breaks the chords into individual notes and plays them sequentially according to the selected algorithm.

Доволен съм , но падовете имат сериозен lack of sensitivity и се губи смисъла от velocity дори и след като качих най-новия firmware , може би има настройки в DAW-овете за по подобрения , но out of the box не са много добри за finger drumming

Всё круто, доехала в целости и сохранности. Приятная цена. Клавиатура тоже хорошая, мне понравилась, на порядок выше прошлых версий. Если нужно что-то компактное, лучший вариант.
