Alice In Chains
Alice in Chains is a rock band from Seattle, formed in 1987. Known for blending grunge and heavy metal, their sound features dark, heavy riffs and distinctive harmonized vocals. The classic lineup included Layne Staley, Jerry Cantrell, Mike Starr, and Sean Kinney, with William DuVall and Mike Inez joining in later years. Alice in Chains became one of the most influential bands of the 1990s, releasing acclaimed albums like Facelift, Dirt, and Jar of Flies. Despite struggles with addiction and the loss of Staley in 2002, the band reunited and continued making music with DuVall. With over 30 million records sold worldwide, multiple chart-topping songs, and several Grammy nominations, Alice in Chains remains a key figure in alternative rock and metal.
