Anti-Flag was an American punk rock band from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, formed in 1988. Known for their outspoken left-wing political messages, the band consisted for most of their career of Justin Sane, Chris Head, Pat Thetic, and Chris Barker, also known as Chris No 2. Rising from the underground punk scene, they achieved wider recognition after signing to RCA Records and releasing the album For Blood and Empire in 2006, featuring the single The Press Corpse and tracks that appeared in popular video games. Over their career, Anti-Flag released thirteen albums and ran their independent label, A F Records. The band abruptly disbanded in July 2023 following serious allegations against Sane, with the remaining members publicly condemning him.
