Audio-Technica ATM355VFcH Instrument Condenser Microphone

The ATM355VFcH is the cH-connector variant of the ATM355VF violin and fiddle clip-on condenser, fitted with a Hirose 4-pin connector for direct compatibility with a wide range of wireless bodypack transmitters from multiple manufacturers. Sharing the same miniature cardioid capsule and violin-specific mounting hardware as the standard ATM355VF, it delivers identical acoustic performance while broadening system integration options for touring and theatre productions.

cH Connector for Wireless Use

The Hirose 4-pin (cH) connector is widely used across professional wireless systems from various manufacturers, making the ATM355VFcH a direct-fit replacement or addition for setups where proprietary connectors are specified. No adapters or cable modifications are required for compatible bodypack transmitters.

Identical Acoustic Performance

Internally, the ATM355VFcH uses the same miniature capsule element as the ATM355VF, providing the same frequency response, sensitivity, and directional characteristics optimized for violin and fiddle. The cH suffix indicates only the output connector type; all acoustic specifications remain unchanged.

Polar Pattern

Polar Pattern: Cardioid

The cardioid directional microphone is designed to be most sensitive to sounds coming directly from the front and less sensitive to sounds coming from the sides and back. This directional pattern resembles the shape of a heart (hence the name "cardioid") and is ideal for situations where it is necessary to focus on a single sound source and minimize ambient noise.

Frequency Range

Frequency Range: 40 Hz - 20 kHz

The frequency response 40 Hz - 20 kHz provides a wide enough range to capture all the fine musical and sonic details.
