The BP892x is a subminiature condenser headset microphone featuring an omnidirectional polar pattern optimized for clear, consistent voice pickup in broadcast, presentation, and live performance applications. Its low-profile boom design keeps the capsule positioned consistently at the corner of the mouth regardless of head movement, and the adjustable boom accommodates both left-ear and right-ear configurations without requiring separate SKUs.

Adjustable Boom for Consistent Placement

The flexible boom arm of the BP892x bends and holds its position, allowing precise capsule placement relative to the mouth for each individual user. Consistent placement at the correct distance from the mouth corner is essential for maintaining stable gain and preventing proximity effect variations during movement on stage or in broadcast settings.

Subminiature Capsule Design

The very small capsule housing sits discreetly at the end of the boom, minimizing the microphone's visual presence in front of the face for television, video conference, and theatre applications where the microphone must be as unobtrusive as possible. Despite its small size, the capsule delivers sufficient sensitivity and frequency response for professional voice applications.

TA4F Connector and Compatibility

The BP892x terminates in a TA4F (4-pin mini XLR) connector compatible with Audio-Technica's UniMount series bodypack transmitters and adapters. The included clothing clip and cable management accessories keep the microphone cable routed cleanly and reduce the risk of cable noise from movement.
