The U859QL is a long-neck cardioid condenser gooseneck microphone that operates on both phantom power and a single AA battery, making it a versatile option for podium and conferencing installations where power source flexibility is essential. Dual Power Operation

The U859QL accepts 11–52V phantom power when available, automatically switching to internal AA battery operation when phantom is not supplied. This redundant power design provides uninterrupted operation during presentations and events where mixer phantom power may be unavailable or accidentally switched off.

Long Gooseneck for Elevated Podiums

The extended neck accommodates raised speaking surfaces and deep lectern interiors where the microphone base must be mounted lower than the speaking height.
