Multi-functional internet radio with WLAN and Bluetooth interface that provides modern functionality and a compact and elegant design with bass reflex wooden housing with a brushed aluminium look and walnut wood veneer. Its WLAN interface enables wireless access to over 10000 radio stations and use as a network player. Thus it is possible, for example, to stream from the computer to the device any digital music collection. In addition, a DAB/DAB+ radio tuner and an analogue FM receiver are included. Also supplied is the RDS function which provides useful, program-related content such as artist name, title, album, genre or messages. Thanks to the built-in Bluetooth interface, the radio allows wireless music streaming from Bluetooth-enabled devices such as smartphones, tablets and laptops. On the rear panel, the USB port can be used to quickly and easily play music tracks from an MP3 feed. An AUX input for connecting external players, such as mobile phones or MP3 players, can be also found on the rear panel. The sound is provided by two laterally built full-range speakers. The result is a broad and dynamic sound with 2 x 5 Watt RMS power that can be increased if necessary with the line-output via external Hi-Fi or surround equipment. Using several equalizer presets and a 2-band EQ with switchable loudness function, user can purposefully target any preferred auditory experience and possible compensate for any existing sound deficits. Thanks to the easy-to-read 7.5cm (2.8") TFT display with dimmable backlight, user can also always keep the time, artist and radio station in sight. Another special feature is the extensive alarm function with programmable intervals, sleep timer and snooze round out the alarm functions. Thanks to its manageable size, the radio fits perfectly on bedside tables, shelves or in the kitchen. It can be easily controlled via the included remote control.
