Behringer AOIP-WSG — Waves SoundGrid Expansion Card for WING Consoles

The Behringer AOIP-WSG is an internal expansion card that adds 64-channel Waves SoundGrid connectivity to any Behringer WING digital console. It slots directly into the WING's internal extension bay, turning the desk into a full Audio-over-IP endpoint for the Waves SoundGrid plugin ecosystem. Bridging the WING's mix engine and a host computer running Waves SuperRack Performer or a dedicated SoundGrid server becomes seamless with this card.

Native SoundGrid Integration Without External Hardware

Unlike USB or external I/O solutions, the AOIP-WSG installs inside the WING itself, freeing the desk's AES50 ports and keeping the existing WING-LIVE recording card operational in parallel. Utilizing the console's built-in Ethernet ports, the card eliminates the need for extra rack space.

64×64 Channel Audio-over-IP Routing

Engineers running complex live shows value channel headroom. With 64 inputs and 64 outputs simultaneously, the module manages a full band mix plus monitor sends without sub-grouping.

Standard IP protocol allows the card to drop onto any 100 Mb/s or Gigabit switch already in the rack — proprietary cabling is not required. Phase coherence is maintained across the SoundGrid network by sample-accurate synchronization.
