Brownstone is an American female R&B group that rose to fame in the mid-1990s. They are best known for their Grammy-nominated 1994 hit "If You Love Me," along with other popular tracks such as "Grapevyne," "5 Miles to Empty," and "Pass the Lovin'." The group also gained recognition for their rendition of "I Can't Tell You Why" by The Eagles. In 2019, founding members Nicci Gilbert and Mimi Doby, joined by Teisha Brown, reunited to celebrate the group's 25th anniversary at the Essence Festival.
