Loudspeaker-type low-frequency 8” driver that provides 94dB sensitivity and 100Wrms (AES standard) power handling. It features a pressed steel chassis, a ferrite magnet, a Kevlar loaded paper cone and a 1.75” high temperature copper voice coil wound on polyimide former for increased reliability. It achieves optimal performance in compact enclosures and delivers an exceptional performance through bass and mid-range – it is ideal for two-way systems. Nominal impedance: 8 Ohm. Frequency range: 70 Hz-6 kHz. Unit weight: 2.3 kg.

Kupiłem dwa takie głośniki. Zamontowałem je w mojej domowej kolumnie marki Taurus. Fabrycznie były w niej głośniki Sica. Miały bardzo ograniczony zakres wyższych częstotliwości. Ta kolumna nie posiada głośnika wysokotonowego. Zatem dźwięk był przyjemny, ale pozbawiony odpowiedniej dynamiki i "POWIETRZA". te Celestiony diametralnie poprawiły dźwięk tej kolumny. Połączyłem dając 16 ohmowe obciążenie dla wzmacniacza. W warunkach mieszkaniowych, większa impedancja powoduje większą kontrolę przy regulacji głośności. Wzmacniacz to Quilter Interbass 45. do tefo filtr HP / LP, kompresor - i już. A nie :) Jest jeszcze Bass Exciter APHEX-a (świetny dodatek - dodający kropkę nad i.) - który nie jest niezbędny, ale powoduje polepszenie dźwięku. Podsumowując - do moich trudnych, mieszkaniowych potrzeb (sąsiedzi) - głośniki Celestion TF818 są idealne.
