Chris and Cosey, also known as Carter Tutti, are a British electronic music duo formed in 1981 by Chris Carter and Cosey Fanni Tutti, both former members of the influential industrial group Throbbing Gristle. Blending experimental electronics with elements of synth-pop, they developed a distinctive sound after their debut album Heartbeat, building on industrial rhythms with a more melodic and accessible approach.
