Paul van Dyk, born Matthias Paul on December 16, 1971, is a renowned German DJ, record producer, and musician known for shaping the trance genre since the early 1990s. He gained early recognition with his remix of "Love Stimulation" and the iconic track "For an Angel." Van Dyk became the first artist to be nominated for a Grammy in the Best Dance or Electronic Album category for his 2003 release "Reflections" and was named the top DJ by Mixmag in 2005. By 2008, he had sold over 3 million albums worldwide. He continues to influence the electronic music scene and currently hosts "Vonyc Sessions with Paul" on Dash Radio.
