Daniel Hope, born in 1973 in Durban, South Africa, is an Irish-German violinist who grew up in England. He gained international recognition through his collaboration with Yehudi Menuhin and as a member of the Beaux Arts Trio. In addition to his performance career, he is known for his musical projects, work as a presenter on television and radio, and as an author. Since 2016, he has been the artistic director of the Zurich Chamber Orchestra.
