Dokken is an American heavy metal band that originated in Los Angeles in 1978. The group rose to fame in the 1980s with hit songs like Alone Again, In My Dreams, and Burning Like a Flame, and has sold over 10 million albums worldwide. Their live album Beast from the East was nominated for the first Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance in 1989. The best-known lineup featured Don Dokken, George Lynch, Mick Brown, and Jeff Pilson.
